Used Backhoes

Attempting to start the 77 Ford 555 Backhoe after over 2 years. I’m not too familiar with this machine, so we made a mistake by leaving the fuel shutoff lever on – I think we would’ve had better luck, but part 2 holds the rest of the answers!
